BODYARMOR Spotlights Newest Partner Flau’jae Johnson to Center Court for March Madness 2026

BODYARMOR announced its return to the college basketball stage for the 2026 March Madness tournament. The moment is brought to life through their national “Choose Better” spot, featuring their newest partner, LSU senior guard and hip‑hop artist Flau’jae Johnson, alongside NCAA alum and champion Jalen Brunson. “Choosing better is about commitment, every day you [have] choices to make, and it’s about choosing better and showing up for yourself,” Johnson told EBONY.

The refreshed creative builds on the campaign to break the routine and make more intentional choices, including how we choose to hydrate. For Johnson, throughout her rise to fame, she’s been very adamant about mindfulness and her overall wellness journey. “You have to be in a [good] mental space. I think silence has been a big thing for me, just being in the moment, listening and reading,” she said. “I try to get into that mindfulness state, and see the beauty [because] I always need resets.”

The first March Madness spot will debut on national TV on Selection Sunday, March 15, 2026, just days ahead of the start of the tournament. “The NCAA is home to the most exciting championships in college sports, starting with March Madness,” said Tom Gargiulo, Chief Marketing Officer at BODYARMOR. “As the Official Sports Drink of the NCAA, BODYARMOR is at the center of the biggest stage in college basketball. We’re thrilled to welcome Flau’jae Johnson to BODYARMOR as our newest partner. She’s continuing her journey within The Coca‑Cola sports family after representing POWERADE with incredible impact – giving her a new platform and helping us bring our ‘Choose Better’ message to life.”

With the brand’s commitment to deliver premium hydration to the country’s best collegiate athletes through this partnership the goal is to curate the unforgettable moments that define the tournament, inspiring fans and consumers to ‘Choose Better’ and hydrate. “It plays a big role as an athlete, you have to be hydrated because you sweat so much, and it’s the same thing when I’m performing, I have to be hydrated, and it’s really a workout when I’m on the stage,” she said.

To further amplify the campaign’s footprint, the brand is teaming up with more than 20 NIL athletes from colleges and universities across the country to support digital and social media content. “I tell kids that all the time, have fun, do your thing, but [with] everything you do, do it with a purpose and do it with intent,” she told EBONY.

As the excitement for March Madness approaches, Johnson embodies a powerful message of intentionality and wellness. With a focus on the importance of hydration on and off the court, this campaign is set to inspire athletes and fans alike to “Choose Better.” As the LSU senior shares her journey of mindfulness and commitment to a full lifestyle. “I’m just really looking forward to just being a better version of myself mentally and winning those battles in my mind,” she said. “I just want to continue to blaze this trail [because] nobody has ever done what I’ve done with the music and basketball, so I want to be the biggest in it.”
