The Wrap-Up Art Basel Edition: A$AP Rocky and Rihanna, Damson Idris, Justine Skye and More

An event so exclusive that it was almost impossible to get in, but for good reason. A$AP Rocky and Rihanna were on the scene at the Ray-Ban Clubhouse by A$AP Rocky, hosted in the historic Carl Fisher Clubhouse on Miami Beach, for an immersive installation. As Ray-Ban’s first-ever Creative Director, A$AP Rocky easily slipped into his new role — and a pair of Wayfarers — to celebrate an immersive art installation featuring a digital gallery and plenty of Ray-Ban shades.

As EBONY dined on empanadas and specialty Palomas, basketball star Jeff Coby held hands with girlfriend Larsa Pippen on the couch next to us, proving that a 20-year age gap doesn’t stand in the way of date night.

Deon Roasts

Deon Cole, along with Comedian CP (Chris Powell) and Lance Woods brought jokes to Unc’s Family Dinner & Roast, one-of-a-kind dinner experience led by Chef Nancie Greene and Kimmy Kreations. This was just one of many moments inside McDonald’s Unc’s Arte Haus, a four-day series of culinary storytelling, art installations and performances. Hosted by McDonald’s and Haus Studios — a creative collective founded by Kendall Hurns that elevates emerging Black artists — the weekend spotlighted food, creativity and community.

JonOne (John Andrew Perello) showed why he’s one of the best taggers out there: he painted a live mural at The Museum of Graffiti’s Art Week celebration in Miami’s Wynwood District. French Montana, Fat Joe, Daymond John and more were just a few of the admirers who stopped by the museum’s sixth anniversary for a history lesson of tag legends, like the Ex-Vandals crew, who elevated the art form starting in the 1970s.

Leon Bridges turned the Shelbourne by Proper hotel lobby into the after-party. The “Coming Home” singer closed out the Capital One Sound Sessions in his genre-blending DJ set format Jump Judy, with tracks that got the standing-room-only crowd pumping.

The night before, Justine Skye had hailed over the space, serving up her signature blend of smooth R&B vocals.

Damson’s Full Night

While TikTok went wild over Damson Idris and Lori Harvey cozying up at Miami’s, EBONY caught Idris flying solo at Capital One’s Mirage Factory earlier that night — looks like the F1 star likes a plot twist. And he still made his appearance at Saints Week later that day, where he spoke about his craft and love for acting.

EBONY editor Delaina Dixon (right) had her moment in the sun at Luli Basel, held at Kiki On The River restaurant located on the coast of the Miami River. The iconic swim and resortwear brand held a brunch and Spring ’26 runway show of the looks we’ll be wearing to next year’s Miami Art Week.
