Druski Lands Netflix Deal After Turning Rejection Into His Own Empire

On the heels of confirmation that Druski will host the November 7 episode of Saturday Night Live, becoming the first digital content creator to do so, the comedian/actor has landed another major milestone. He has signed a multi-year agreement to create exclusive original content for Netflix, with Collect & Praise set to premiere December 1.

Druski plays a money-hungry megachurch pastor alongside his unpredictable deacon, played by Mike Epps, as they scheme their way through scandal, chaos and controversy in the comedic episodic series. This is the first of several planned projects from Druski and his production company, 4LIFERS Entertainment. Netflix will also license existing titles, including Coulda Been Love, Coulda Been Daddy and Coulda Been Records Auditions, according to a statement.

Druski’s megachurch skit landed in January 2026, showing the comedian descending from the ceiling in designer clothes and soliciting hefty donations from his congregation. Viewers drew comparisons to Pastor Mike Todd, who called the sketch “hilarious” during a sermon but criticized the online arguments it sparked.

Why This Deal Is a Second Coming

What makes this deal even more intriguing? According to Druski, some of the companies now interested in his work previously passed on his ideas.

During a September appearance on The Diary of a CEO, Druski told host Steven Bartlett that Hollywood had rejected projects, including Netflix, over the years. He began putting his own earnings into producing the work himself.

That investment helped build a comedy universe on YouTube, where his fictional talent searches, relationship shows and other productions found their audience without waiting for a network executive’s approval.

Druski, like other content creators, built new avenues into the industry, especially when their work had been characterized as too specific, unconventional or difficult to sell. His brand of comedy taps into recognizable figures and scenarios, from flashy pastors to former child stars navigating adulthood, giving viewers familiar ground before taking things to the extreme. His work also stands as sharp commentary on celebrity, money and power through a satirical lens.

Along with these announcements, Druski will appear in the upcoming feature film The Catch, alongside Emma Stone and Chris Pine.
