Love is in the air … or at least on the timeline. We’re checking in once again on the celebrity couples making headlines, from Love Island USA Season 8 pairings popping up in their first public PDAs post-villa to engagement news, and everything in between.
Brinity For the Long Haul
Trinity Tatum is not just standing by her man; she’s trying his matcha. After relocating to Los Angeles to be close to Bryce Dettloff, the Love Island USA Season 8 winning couple posted an oh-so-sweet, literally and figuratively, post of Tatum trying matcha for the first time.
The two also enjoyed a night out on the town, taking a summer’s-night LA stroll and dinner at Craig’s. They were joined by castmate Melanie Moreno, sans her Love Island USA partner Sincere Rhea (but this is Celeb Love Check, so we won’t read into it).
Seems like these two are enjoying every moment of dating on the outside.
KC and Titi Take a Stand
After dropping some smoking-hot shots on their feeds with a not-so-subtle message that they’re ride-or-die, Love Island USA couple KC Chandler and Tierra “Titi” Davis sat down with their own YouTube podcast for a candid conversation about life outside the villa. They opened up about everything: their difficult childhoods and the villa not showing the genuine moments and deeper conversations they experienced, and navigating online hate—from racist comments and death threats to bashings from their own community. They also shared how they’ve leaned on each other through it all.
But the sweetest revelation? The first movie they watched together in the real world was The Truman Show, at Davis’ recommendation. “At first I didn’t get it. I thought it was boring,” Chandler admitted. With a little encouragement from her to stick with it, Chandler began to see the parallels between the film and their Love Island experience.
“That movie was life-changing,” he declared. Awww.
Fetty Wap Engaged
Fetty Wap is about to be a married man. Zavier Jordan Maxwell, best known as Fetty Wap, shared with fans that he has asked his ride-or-die, Alexis, to be his significant other. It was a magical proposal, with a romantic backdrop of pink roses, white candles and the all-important “Will You Marry Me” sign prominently on display.
After getting down on one knee, the rapper, who ended his incarceration early, presented Alexis with a large diamond ring. The moment was a surprise for Alexis, and us, as the two have mainly kept the relationship under wraps. Congrats to the soon-to-be newlyweds.
