Disney has just announced that the Cheetah Girls are returning to its platform for another encore. From executive producers Debra Martin Chase and former series star-turned-executive producer Raven-Symoné, a new generation of Cheetah Girls is being introduced.
According to Disney, the story revolves around Cheetah Girls Galleria, a role originated by Symoné and Chanel, with Adrienne Bailon reprising her role, as they experience life alongside Galleria’s daughter, Faith (Jeffries), and her three friends. The crew travels to Africa to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary. Ar Friendship, finding your voice, and discovering the true Cheetah spirit are universal themes carried into the new series.
Here’s who’s joining and who’s making a delightful return.
Who’s New?

Percy Jackson and the Olympians star Leah Sava Jeffries is playing Galleria’s daughter, Faith, alongside new Cheetah gal Carmen Sanchez as Chanel’s sister, Dior. Kaileen Chang and Sophie Lennon star as Ruby and Brooklyn. Newcomer Kamogelo Ramashala, a local South African actor discovered during Disney’s global open casting call, is set to play Kendi.
Who’s Returning?
Alongside Symoné and Bailon, Lynn Whitfield and Lori Alter are set to reprise their roles as Dorothea and Juanita. Sabrina Bryan will make a special appearance as Dorinda, and Sophia Bush is set to appear in a supporting role as Jennifré.
The films are based on The Cheetah Girls book series by Deborah Gregor. Production starts in South Africa this month.
