Tyler Perry’s Sistas (Season 10) — January 7, BET: Rejoicing over a decade of sisterhood. Andi, Sabrina, Karen, Danni and April embark on another season of love, career and personal drama.
His & Hers (Series Premiere) — January 8, Netflix: Tessa Thompson headlines this book-to-screen psychological thriller as Anna, a newscaster trying to resurrect her career after tragedy by investigating a murder in her hometown. “She left a lot of people and things behind, a lot of pain,” Thompson revealed to EBONY. “I can understand what it is to go through a period where you feel like you’ve lost touch with yourself or with the world around you. Now, she has to contend with that and find her way back to herself and the people that she loves and matter to her.”
A Thousand Blows (Season 2) — January 9, Hulu: Malachi Kirby is a Jamaican boxer who immigrates to England and gets caught up with the 40 Elephants, a real-life female crime syndicate from the 1880s, in this historical retelling.
Industry (Season 3) — January 11, HBO & HBOMax: Myha’la is still chasing the dollar — or should we say billions — in the eat, or be eaten, world of banking in Pierpont & Co’s London office.
Hijack (Season 2) — January 14, Apple TV+: Executive producer and star Idris Elba must tap his corporate negotiation skills once again. This time, he’s on a Berlin underground train where commuters are taken hostage.
