British artist 21 Savage has hit adulting peak time: the “A lot” rapper turned 33 on October 22. He celebrated his special day with a ’90s “Showtime at the Apollo” theme in Atlanta, complete with performances from R&B legends including Keith Sweat, Keyshia Cole, Xscape, and more. Never forgetting her roots, Simone Biles joined Friends of the Children-Chicago to visit with chapter staff and teens. She shared how her success is connected to the support she received from caring adults—her parents, coaches and mentors—both as a young child in foster care and as an adult competing on the biggest stages in gymnastics. Friends of the Children provides paid mentors who spend a 12-plus period mentoring a child.
