In an industry where access often determines opportunity, fashion visionary Misa Hylton continues to build bridges for the next generation. The stylist and creative force behind some of the most iconic looks in hip-hop and pop culture, including Mary J. Blige, Missy Elliott and Dru Hill, has announced the launch of the 4th All Star Mentorship Program through the Misa Hylton Fashion Academy (MHFA)—a transformative initiative powered by PVH Corp.’s $10 million global philanthropic fund.
The year-long program pairs emerging creatives with industry leaders across design, media, and retail, offering what Hylton calls “education with intention.” Participants gain personalized mentorship, hands-on project experience, and access to leadership workshops designed to help them thrive in an ever-evolving industry.
“Our All Star Mentorship Program is more than just skill-building—it’s about nurturing confidence, fostering creativity, and helping young talent discover their purpose in the fashion industry,” Hylton said. “With the support of PVH Corp., we’re creating pathways for the next generation of leaders to thrive.”
That commitment has already attracted major industry players. Past program collaborators include Amazon, Macy’s, and Crocs, while notable mentors such as Claire Sulmers, Emil Wilbekin, Kesha McLeod, Sharifa Murdock, and Anifa Mvuemba have shared their expertise with MHFA cohorts.
Applications for the 2025 cohort are open through November 30, and MHFA is inviting students and young professionals eager to merge creativity with purpose.
For Hylton, whose career has always fused fashion and empowerment, the program is both a reflection and continuation of her mission: to educate, empower, and elevate those who dream in color and dare to make those dreams a reality.
