A$AP Rocky and Rihanna love dropping nuggets about their life like it’s golden. And now we’re getting the most enticing news yet: A$AP Rocky says he’s Rihanna’s husband!
In a candid interview with Perfect Magazine, A$AP Rocky shared what brings him the greatest satisfaction and happiness. “Being a father and a partner and a loving husband in my family is what makes me really, really happy,” he replied, adding, “that’s what honestly does get me going: being able to express myself creatively, being able to be a family man and being able to be an artisan.”
The powerful music couple has never publicly confirmed if they are officially wed, though there have been hints. Rihanna claimed she was wife-ish in October 2024. In a September 2025 interview, when asked if he was looking forward to being a husband, A$AP Rocky responded, “How you know I’m not already a husband?”
We’ve been getting more information about A$AP Rocky and Rihanna’s expanding family life over the past few months. They revealed on Instagram that their first daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers, was born on September 13, a dream come to fruition.
The couple is already parents to their two sons: RZA Athelston Mayers, born in May 2022, and Riot Rose Mayers, born in August 2023, but had been expressing their desire to add a little girl to the family. Rihanna discussed how having a daughter would change the family dynamic when she sat down with Interview magazine in April 2024. “I’ve always wanted a girl. God knows best, right? And I love my boys,” she expressed.
Her partner backed up that sentiment. In the September 2025 issue of ELLE, A$AP Rocky gave us a little hint that the family would get their wish. “I hope it’s a girl; I really do. We’re praying for a girl,” he had stated.
And it looks like little Rocki will be a Daddy’s girl through and through—since she’s named after him. The Highest 2 Lowest star’s name is Rakim Mayers.
With a new baby in the family, we’re sure Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are once again working on baby sleep schedules (sleep when the baby sleeps!) and playing tunes. Here are three of their own tracks they can put on to lull little Rocki into la la land.
“Diamonds” — Rihanna
Celebrating the inner light, happiness, and beauty connection with another person, the couple could even play this lullafied-version for baby Rocki.
“Fashion Killa” — A$AP Rocky
Mama Rihanna was the inspiration for this 2013 A$AP Rocky song; she even appears in the video. The couple can play this instrumental version until their kids are old enough to hear the real lyrics.
“Lift Me Up” — Rihanna
Written as a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, this soft, soothing song offers comfort and support.
